A little more about the owner

As a child, Courtney won multiple county level science fair competitions which provided her the opportunity to compete in multiple state science fair competitions, and learn to love science. From 6th grade to 9th grade, she visited Purdue University every summer for a week and a half to take part in Women In Engineering Camp, where her love for STEM was truly birthed. She planned on going to college to be a computer engineer, but because advanced math was a challenge for her, rather than follow her heart, she changed plans and studied criminal justice.

At 19, while studying Criminal Justice, she became a mother, which led her to seek the role of a substitute teacher, instructing high risk students in impoverished areas grades k-12. With so many students performing below grade level, she used her observations as the driving point for creating hands on, interactive educational activities that students would fully be receptive to while building intellectual confidence and learning life skills, rather than continuing the traditional partially receptive way of learning that only a handful of students are receptive to.

In May 2017, shortly after obtaining a Master of Arts Degree in Human Services Counseling, and serving years as a Federal probation, Courtney realized that working in the criminal justice field was not conducive to motherhood at the time. Shortly after, Courtney along with her children and husband, whipped up their first batch of cookies and completely sold out. In 2020, we came up with a new and improved way to effectively ignite educational interest in youth while also delivering hassle free entertainment to adults in a way that has never done before.
